Production Company in Italy: From Local Services to Full Production
When a brand or an agency is looking for a production company in Italy for a campaign, a launch event or a piece of content built around a local event. Putting the production together on the ground can get complicated for a client based abroad: finding the right people, coordinating logistics and permits, identifying locations that actually work for what the project needs.
It’s the role we’ve increasingly found ourselves in as a production company in Italy, and we take it on in its full range. Sometimes we own the entire project, from creative concept to location, from casting to crew, through production and post. However other times we come in to support a production that’s already built and led by someone else. In fact, here’s what that looks like in practice.
IWC in Milan: local crew for an international event
In early 2025, IWC Schaffhausen brought a private preview of its new Ingenieur and Pilot’s Watch collection to Milan. Weeks ahead of the global unveiling at the Watches and Wonders Geneva event. IWC built the collection around its partnership with the F1 movie, with the green-dial Ingenieur taking inspiration from the watch worn by the film’s lead character. The Milan event brought that aesthetic and those references directly into the room.
For this event Some of Us, a Milan-based production service company, ran the production, and we supported them as crew. We worked alongside a creative team based in Switzerland. Our job was to deliver clean, reliable coverage of the event, reportage style, with multiple camera setups and guest conversations. The brief, shot list and edit all came from their team, not ours.
As a result, what we’re showing you here is the footage we shot ourselves. It is the proof that we can step into an already-defined production, pick up the brief fast, and deliver something a new client can rely on.
Purina: backstage and social support for an international production
Purina is the official pet care partner of U.S. Soccer. Ahead of the 2026 World Cup it brought a production to Italy centred on Weston McKennie, the USMNT midfielder who plays for Juventus and is based in Italy for most of the year.
Some of Us ran the lead production, working with an international team and a local crew. Meanwhile, we came in to support it: while the main unit worked the hero spot, we shot backstage footage and complementary social content. Including an on-set Q&A with McKennie, so it could run independently across Instagram.

A production company in Italy for everyday work too
For example, sometimes the work we do with international clients is small-scale. Like corporate productions or shoot days that simply need a local crew, a studio in Milan and someone on the ground running things. A recent example: we got a call to produce a podcast in Milan simply because the interviewee happened to be on holiday here at the time, and they urgently needed a reliable local crew.
Overall, it’s a big part of what we do: supporting international teams when they need a production company in Italy.
